Dibond Sign Tray Panels

Sign tray panels created in Dibond – exactly what it says on the tin

Affectionately known in the sign industry as a biscuit tin lid, sign tray panels are created by Applelec in metal and the lightweight aluminium composite material (ACM), Dibond.

Used in the construction of fascia shop signage, Applelec’s composite sign tray panels are available in a variety of standard colours, all cut to size on one of our routers. Features such as built-up letters, flat cut letters and vinyl detail is then added to create effective shop signs.

The composite sheet features two thin sheets of aluminium enclosing a polyethylene core making it lightweight but extremely strong. The smooth, flat surface of the sheet is particularly well suited to the application of vinyl graphics required for many shop signs. In addition to sign tray panels created with aluminium composite material sheets, Applelec sources other manufacturer’s materials including Reynobond, Dibond and Alupanel.

Applelec is happy to construct simply the sign tray panel for our customers to complete with lettering and graphics or the entire sign project to create a finished fascia sign that’s ready to install.

To add illumination to any sign tray panel, Applelec manufacture a slim LED trough light which is fixed above the installed sign. With a 28mm diameter the trough light is discrete and can be powder coated to match the colour of the sign tray panel.
