Applelec donate signage for charity organisation Canine Partners

Applelec recently manufactured and donated new signage for the charity organisation Canine Partners, whose work helps to transform the lives of people living with disabilities by training assistance dogs.

The charity required new signage for their recently built accommodation block at the Canine Partners' Midlands Training Centre in Loughborough. The Bradbury Court sign was created to recognise and thank the charity's supporter, The Bradbury Foundation a charitable trust which has supported Canine Partners since 2009 and donated a large sum of money towards the development of the new accommodation block.

Applelec created a 1000mm x 600mm clear acrylic sign with the Bradbury Court lettering etched onto the surface of the material in the charity's purple branding. The sign was fitted to the side exterior of the new development block and with the acrylic just 5mm in width, achieved a sleek and neat finish.

Andy Cook, Canine Partners' CEO said: 'We are thrilled with the Bradbury Court sign and are incredibly grateful to Applelec for donating this to us, as well as for how quickly they completed the project. Canine Partners receives no government funding so relies on support from organisations such as these in order to continue training our amazing assistance dogs and help continue to transform the lives of people with physical disabilities.'

The Canine Partners' highly trained assistance dogs bring increased independence and quality of life to their partners, offering a greater sense of security, as well as providing a range of psychological and social benefits.
