Rugby league, playing, coaching and watching is pretty much my life in my spare time. My wife, who also plays rugby and my baby girl Roxy, a Rottweiler, who doesn't play rugby. 

Dislikes
Fad diets, lazy people and cricket, it's not a sport if you stop for tea and buns half way through! 

Brings to the team 
Apart from the charm, perhaps a bit of a different angle on design and engineering.

Desert island disc
Definitely Maybe (Oasis). Although I'm more of a film man so I'd take my Star Wars DVD's, Snatch, Superbad and the Bourne films. They wouldn't be much good without a DVD player and a TV though, but I'd just design one out of sand and palm trees.

Lifetime ambition
I really want to go to Australia and watch a State of Origin game.

Guilty Pleasure
Midget gems, I don't think I could ever eat enough. Got to be the old school ones though, none of this modern day rubbish. 

Unusual fact 
I have just become the England Lionesses (women's rugby league) assistant coach, I'm not supposed to tell anyone yet though!

What is your favourite experience from your time working at Applelec?
Apart from all of the staff being really friendly and all working hard for the company, it's got to be the fridge. I've always wanted one with an ice machine and water filter, it sealed the deal did that one!
